Rev. Peter J. Okafor, In Residence

Rev. Peter J. Okafor is a priest of the Catholic Diocese of Issele-Uku in Nigeria, ordained in 2005. Since then he has worked in a few parishes as associate pastor, as chaplain to a high school, and as a director of one of the leading schools of Evangelization in Africa for the training of both the clergy and laity in the modern skills of New Evangelization: a new zeal, expression and method. He also has experience with working with young people in schools and out of the campus experience, a task he had combined with catechetical training of church personnel.

He came to the United States for his further studies, and has just completed his Licentiate in Systematic Theology in Boston. He will be joining us here as a resident student while he pursues a doctorate at the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley.
