Henry A. Ormond, O. Carm.
Henry Ormond was born and raised in the City of Oakland. He is a Carmelite priest and has worked in the Diocese of Oakland since 1983. Henry has a Ph.D. in psychology and master’s degrees in both counseling and spirituality. He is on the faculty of the Graduate Program in Counseling Psychology at Holy Names College. He is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and maintains a private practice in both Oakland and Fairfield. Henry was a weekend minister at St. Leo’s several years ago and is grateful for the invitation to reconnect with the parishioners. He returned to St. Leo the Great in February, 2002.
