Allen St. James

My name is Randolph Allen St. James II and I came to St. Leo’s Parish from St. Mary’s Parish in Los Gatos, California. As the second oldest of five children from an Irish/Welch European Catholic family, and being born in Limerick, Ireland; my roots are deep in the richness of Church traditions/practices. As a life-long Catholic, I believe that one’s faith/ spiritual community is a critical component of one’s life journey both in terms of family and the larger community of our neighbors. I hold degrees
as follows: BS in Marketing/Economics, MBA Finance, JD Law, LLM International Law, and I am currently a PhD candidate at Stanford University located in Palo Alto, California, pursuing a degree in Organization and Management. I am also employed as the managing director of the Brookstreet Company, a newly formed San Francisco private equity firm, which invests in clean technologies in the areas of water, green building and organics. I am married to Rebecca K. St. James, and we have a fifteen month old son, Randolph Allen St. James III, who Fr. Tim baptized at St. Leo’s this past summer. As a family, we actively engage in the arts, especially theater, ballet, opera and symphony. We live at the Waterfront Landing Complex along the Alameda Estuary in the Jack London Square District.
